NATURAL PERFUMERY CERTIFICATION
"We are here to preserve our vital heritage by sharing our knowledge, experience and research. We need to give back perfume its true value: the soul of flowers and the spirit of nature. To everyone making the effort of changing, I say Thank you! " Creezy Courtoy, IPF Chairman

In keeping with our Mission to promote Natural Perfumery, and insure that all stakeholders work together towards common goals, the International Perfume Foundation has launched the Natural Perfumery Certification Program. IPF’s Certification Program was, first and foremost, developed for Natural Perfume consumers. What should consumers expect from Natural Perfumes? That they should really be natural and sustainable! This is why IPF certifies Natural Perfumers and requires Certified Natural Perfumers to follow the highest standards in the perfume industry. IPF also recognizes how important it is to be educated properly in Natural Perfumery by an accredited school, and so IPF also certifies Natural Perfumery Schools. Finally, it is important for IPF to certify other segments in the Natural Perfume supply chain, starting by Essential Oil Producers. Altogether, the IPF Certification Program insures that Natural Perfumes have authenticity, integrity and transparency. The IPF Natural Perfumery Certification Program will include Everyone in the perfume and beauty supply chain, from schools to perfumers, growers, processors, essential oils, packaging suppliers and retailers. The ultimate purpose for IPF’s Certification Program is to insure that consumers have legitimate choices of Pure and Natural Perfumes and Beauty Products for their enjoyment and wellbeing in the same way they care for the food they buy for themselves and their families. Increasingly, consumers are looking for perfumes and beauty creams that not only look beautiful and have desirable fragrances or anti-ageing power but are also natural and sustainable. |
